I haven't much of a father growing up and my Master is my family so anyone talks about him talks about my family and I don't let no one, even on internet, saying unrespectuful thing about him and his school. On the outside wall of the pot room in the center of my Master's garden is written " WE DON'T ACCEPT MORE WORK"
Comprende!??!?!

Si... capisco.

I feel the same way about my own master... I'm not tolerant of trash talk for him either. If you believed that I was... then I ask you to read what I said again. I acknowledged him as a great among greats... I do not see that as a disrespect in any way, and even said I was a big fan of his work. If something got lost in translation I hope you'll believe me when I say this again.

Kindest regards,

Victrinia

Griz, you made my day. That is the best t-shirt I have seen for a while. I laughed so loud when i saw the tree in his hand.

Marco, good to see you jumping in with a favorable attitude. Adding the tour dates made it perfect.

Haven't spent 35 bucks for a T shirt since my last Stones Concert...but I would make an exception for this T Shirt. Well done Brett, haven't had a good giggle like this in a long time

Stay tuned for a revelation, you won't believe your eyes.

keep it green,
Harry

Why did this post remind me of a certain very large ape... what was his name... all I can remember is something about foliar feeding, sealing cuts and something about a 'secret method'...

This is all well and good but one must not combine Marco's tool with any other tools or undesired pruning may occur. Ya know some branches just never grow back...

In all seriousness, the shirt would not be complete without an autograph!

Nice shirt....but why the picture of the whining stork in the background?

Until you spend $350 on a piece of material, yu'll be wasting your time with another tool.

Interestingly.... $350 doesn't even buy much unless it's shohin... or at an auction. But hey... it's a good place to start for most people who want to get something which won't take them 20 years of growing out. ;)

Nothing beats good material. :D

Dear GrizzlyWon,

WELL DONE!:D:D:D:D

Do you think we can change the WANKER in the back with just NBW? So we can all wear the t-shirt going to a restaurant or such...

Can you get in touch with me at marco@marcoinvernizzi.com , thank you?

I offer you the possibility to reach your goal soon. You make me 10 t-shirts and I give you 1 ICHIBAN.

Deal?

Marco, with your demos and classes do you bring ( I was going to say your tool) :eek:your Ichiban tool so that your students can give it a work out? If not I feel it would be a great chance to put the Ichiban in the hands of a lot of people that can in turn give you some really valuable exposure, from the hobbiests view.

Unlike many I do realize the value of hearing Bill V and Suthin say that it is a good tool, from them it definately means something. Some day I hope to be using one on my hundreds of trees, of course first I'll need to gather those trees, working on that part is fun though.

Hey Marco, I applaud your sense of humor. It obviously shows a certain degree of humility to come in with this post at this point of the discussion! Well done!:D

You know what........................Marco's great, his teacher is great, and the Ichiban is really cool. The guy worked hard in something he has a passion for, and is doing what he can to further it along. The fact that he can do what he is doing for a living is just awsome and I'm a little bit jealous I guess. I think the Ichiban is worth every bit of the price. I know I wouldn't sell it for less. I can't change anyone else, but I am going to lighten up a little. I spent the whole weekend working on my trees, and that's what we're supposed to be doing instead of wanking. Keep it up Marco! I'm going to go home now, grab my two year old little girl and we're going to go water some bonsai!

I told you if you hung around you could expect a suprise, Marco "the hack" Invernizzi, or in some circles "the marketing idiot" got around to styling my Itoigawa, once I got him off this board. I thought you would like to see the results, so you could judge for yourself, I'm the one in the hat. Since some people were a little upset about the redneck picture on Marco's website in the before & after section, we thought we would update the picture so as to not offend anyone again.:D:D:D;)

keep it green,
Harry

I consider myself an expert on Dale Cochoy pots... owning several. He's got the neatest - tightest looking bottoms/feet... you can tell it's his just by that alone... though the texture was a pretty sure give away... that man is a marvelous artist.

I'm envious of you for it.... :D

It would NOT be the first time I got in trouble for admiring his bottoms... but that is a long story. :p
