This one had a good season. Cleaning him up to move inside at least for our 40s this weekend.
Too much water over the recent hot spell. Gotta watch that...
Got some good growing on the weak side. Probably needs trimed up a bit.IMG_20170927_130650943.jpg IMG_20170927_130619897.jpg

Branches are heavy and crowding each other. Want to thin it out but not real sure where to start.
It's grown well. I've been trying to get the foliage to move toward the bare side by turning toward the sun and it's working.
Just not any lower branching starting.
Any tips before I start? Thanks.IMG_20180106_113122339_HDR.jpg IMG_20180106_113200674.jpg IMG_20180106_113220586.jpg

That looks really nice. I have a portulacara I am working on trying to develop pads on it just by basic bonsai cuts...bottom...top....forks. Kind of slow going and a lot of trial and error.

If I cut a tip off, will it fork/divide?
The pom pom foliage is getting so heavy it feels like it could break branches while moving around. Quite top heavy even after re-potting in a bit larger pot last year.
I can't believe how much it's grown since last year looking at the opening post.

This is the one I am working on. I have not cleaned it up in a while.

This is a top view of one of the pads I am working on they do seem to divide:

And this is a portulacara so it is a bit different.
