I woke up to frost on my car, and me weather app shows it's only 26 degrees, but I think it's off by about 5, or 8 degrees. It doesn't feel THAT cold

Driving my daughter to school this AM the car was reading 32. Apparently it was 10 degrees up in Wrightwood. Snow level down to 1500 feet!

Reading, PA was 82F today under sunny skies with humid conditions, then a passing pop up thunderstorm in the late afternoon. A typical summer day for the area, oh wait, it's winter! Bizarre.

Today's high of 82F was an all-time record high for any day on record in the whole month of February, beating the precious all-time monthly record high of 77F by 5F! Beating an all-time monthly record high by that much is pretty darn rare to say the least.

I took a closer look at a bunch of bushes, shrubs, vines, trees, flowering trees and perennials today out in the hot sun and saw no evidence of bud swelling or anything else to suggest spring is around the corner. This must be thanks to the consistently cold winter we have had this season all the way through (pretty much at least).

Suppose to be high 30's to 50 during the day all this week...above normal for this time of year. They said we were going to get above avg snow and below avg temp this year. Hasn't worked that way at all yet....still March left though

I think winter is over, here in Southeast Pennsylvania. Nights below freezing are common here in the spring and fall, so a return to cold nights (20F-32F) does not necessarily mean "winter is back". Now, if we get a string of days with highs below 32F, I might say differently, but I seriously doubt that, save for another day or two.

Meteorological winter in the northern hemisphere runs December, January and February, so early spring conditions are to be expected from roughly now forward.

I found a climate with just the right amount of winter (having moved here from Florida in 2016).

Frost and ice on my car in the mornings. Very uncharacteristic of Southern California
