I found a great way to recycle those aluminum espresso pods.
Make fertilizer holders!
1. Poke small holes in the domed surface with an awl or a small nail
2. Cut the plastic covering from the flat surface.
3. With a small spoon scrap out the coffee grinds into a bowl to later sprinkle on your acid loving azaleas.
4. Fill the pod with you fertilizer.
5. Cover the flat bottom with foil and fold over the edge of the pod.
6. With the same awl or nail poke holes in the foil.
7. Place on you plants.
They are heavy enough to withstand most wind and the lip of the pod is a great place to pin the pod to the surface if needed.
