I have never uploaded to an album that I know of... Or at least not on purpose. I just upload directly to the thread.

Hmm... Let me play around with this, thank you!

It always irritated me seeing my crappy stuff on the homepage, hopefully this cures that...

In my album. Whenever I post a picture, I have to upload to my album, then add it to a post. Maybe I've been doing it all wrong this whole time... I'm assuming a lot of people just link from photo sharing websites, but I don't have one. Please let me know if there's another way, otherwise I'm going to have to start deleting old pictures...

You can just take an image and drag and drop it from your desktop into a post :)

Of course, then you can't organize them like in your albums, and you don't have as much editing control and control over people commenting on your photos, etc.

Thank you @sorce, @milehigh_7, and @Bonsai Nut, that's so much easier... I don't know why I assumed you had to put them in an album first before attaching to a post

That's the 2006 way :) Wait until we upgrade the site in January 2018 :)

Callicarpa americana ( American beautyberry ) in the photo. They are native here in Virginia. I see them scattered about in the woods. The berries are in clumps surrounding the stem . Actually they are all over my land.

Just wondering how everyone's Beautyberry's are doing from bonsaibp? Mine is loving coastal
NJ!!! The leaves were smaller than a pinky nail when I got the tree. I have fertilized the heck out of it, and it has grown like a weed. The current goal is growth/thickening, so the leaves are large, and the internodes are long. In a few years, I am going to air layer off this long, straight section on an angle and use the lowest branch as the new trunk.

The berries seem to be forming on the upper half of the new growth.

There are American Beautyberry growing on my property like weeds. I cut down several <90 days ago, including one that was 8-10' tall. That particular plant is an easy 5' tall, again. I'm keeping an eye on a couple of them as future specimens. They definitely grow fast (but it has been raining almost daily here for a month or two). Does anyone know how well the leaves reduce?

Mine from him actually made it through the winter here in the garage, and is growing like a weed.

not sure about leaf reduction, but it will transplant really well. cut it back hard at removal.

These plants should be easy to work with. I worked for 20 years trying to rid my property in Florida of them. I never won the battle.

I was surprised this morning with a goregeous show of berries from the Japanese Beautyberry cuttings that I planted in my landscape!!! I had been cutting off the berries to focus on new growth, but these ones escaped my grasp!

I removed the wire from them, and coverd them with much. They are hearty to the zone four, so I'm not anticipating any issues being outside. Nightly night!!!
