The simple fix.

It seems that somehow I seem to be in a conundrum. I am not going to change how I do things. I don't like to argue with people I don't agree with. I have put many on ignore. I think around 20 or so. I thought maybe I need to put more on ignore.

Then It occurs to me, why do I need to put people on ignore when I seem to be the one that no one agrees with. It seems a whole lot easier for all of you to put one guy on ignore than me putting half the forum on ignore cause you can't handle the truth.

So Al will continue to post his stuff and if you feel this overwhelming need to come in and bash me, then I will give it right back, that seems fair. Treat me with respect and and I will treat you with respect. I am a fair guy.

If you feel you just can't do that, you have been warned and if you don't like my style, ignore me...simple. I'm tired of the girly whining and all the crap that frankly does not move the discussion forward at all. You all talk about wanting to talk about trees, but seem to continue going to "that thread" and posting more crap. When are you guys going to grow up and just stop. It's only use now is for bashing Al. Just ignore me and all your problems disappear. This place is the 2020 election in microcosm here, and I'm TRUMP!!!

Two distinct images come to mind. And i too, wil not argue with people I don't agree with. And I too, will not change. Because that's what moving forwards is all about, right? It's not about evolution, it's not about progress, it's about staying the same and asking the world to change.

Hmmm, I forget, what is all of this about?

However when a tree reaches this foliage density, we use the
sculpture technique called -- take away.
Exploring negative and positive shapes, shapes
of masses and seek to create a pleasing look.

Also done with branchlet density seen in the last example.

One wakes in the morning...CHOOSING to be offended or not. I choose to not be offended. Carry on~

I have few people on my ignore. Those who have personally been Trolls...or newbies who were offended by just common knowledge offered to them. Or personally attacked my religion/missionary work. I don't have time to unruffle feathers of one offended by a common knowledge thing I try to share. I will allow others answer their questions. It's not a personal attack...it's about trees.

But I am trying to skip threads which are targeted at one feeling offended. The reason I am commenting to this one is...you nailed it. If one is offended...then they need to use the ignore...and stop complaining about it.

I started a thread about why one loves the forum...I was curious...if ones who come here for knowledge would reply...or if the thread complaining would have more posts. As the one complaining grows in posts by leaps and bounds. I was not surprised. To offer a compliment or praise is given out far less than complaints. I prefer to remain positive! I was given a new day this morning.

I recall you starting 3 threads about how people are hurting your feelings. I'm not very educated about your two party system, but that sounds quite Liberal. Not having the introspective capabilities of your own actions and how hypocrisy leads your emotions can be pooled under Social Justice Warrior kind of behavior. You did not ignore my comment, you did not revert this interaction towards anything progressive tree-wise.

Instead of bitching here, we could take a look at my crap trees. I'd respect and value your input.
If you need better pics, I'll provide them.
But then, let's make it about trees. All trees. No bullshit. No "i'm ignoring you and you should ignore me" kind of crap. Are you up for that? I am. I was. I didn't start this fire. I did add some fuel. My bad. That's me.
If you'd like to talk some more about how everybody doesn't progress instead of helping them progress, thats fine too. Just make sure you don't say one thing and do the other.

I’ll ask you the same thing I told someone else last week. Just what do you think my function is at this forum? Do you feel that I owe you advice, or that some how it’s my responsibility to help you make your trees better? I’m just a poster here like everyone else. If you don’t like the questions I ask or the challenges I put forward or the way I conduct my time here, don’t participate by piling on with the crowd. Send me a PM if that feels more comfortable. But I’m not going to give you a manby pamby answer. If I suggest you throw it away and start with something better, respect my answer. Say thanks for your time and the honest answer but this is what I have. I respect that. I would never give someone grief for what they can afford or find. I am in the midst of everything bonsai and I understand that people don’t have access to what I get. But if you feel you have what it takes to turn a sows ear into a silk purse, do it. Send me a PM and I’ll make sure to give you an atta boy cause that’s all we get around here. No body is paying me 300.00 dollars a year to share what I know. That said, you are a troll and a bully, who enjoys the attention you get for your negative comments. You are right: Just like Trump, you need the attention, and just lile the Cheetoo, your fragile ego does not care whether is negative or not, as long as you are in the spotlight. Sad!

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Why did you feel necessary to come into this post and pile on? I don’t think I have even had any interaction with you at all. What all the hostility.
You can only be a bully if your wrong. I don’t comment when I’m wrong. Even if it stayed to the debate of the subject matter there is nothing wrong. It only goes south when I let someone know they are wrong or to try something different that people don’t want to be told what to do. Then it gets personal. Why does it have to get personal. If with all the piling on recently, I feel no need to get personal with someone, call them a bully, or a know it all or a troll, he’ll ive been here 12 years. Trolls hit and run. I’m not running.
