that should shape up nicely with some wire. Very nice tree. Grafted or ungrafted? from Adams?

must be very old!
I like it!
Tons of branches to choose from.
Looking at it, I would put it in the 25 to 30 year old range.

Pretty much all the branches coming off the trunks are keepers. At this point, what I will be striving for is balance and keeping the growth in check. Getting back budding to keep foliage close to the trunk, and preventing it from getting leggy. Looking for opportunities to cut back.

Being a triple trunk - they’re always awkward - there’s opportunities for changing the front! I probably won’t, but for now, it’s fun to put it on the turn table and consider the possibilities!

Nice! Do you have any Zuisho from Julian Adams? He has some big ones I seen on the website.

Yes, I do. I have two, in fact.

Here is one:

I’ll be keeping it.

I don’t have a good picture of the other one. It’s bigger, and now that I have this new one, I think I’ll be selling it.

@namnhi, I think you can see by this second little Zuisho, I know how to make them full.

Here’s and older picture of it:

I like taking these older bonsai that need a bit of rehab and bring them back to their former glory!

Hold on... this is getting confusing! The “older bonsai” is the first one I posted in the thread.

Uh... this one with the flamingos is not an older bonsai. I bought it from Julian Adams a couple years ago. It’s one of his airlayers. Well, it is about 20 years old now, but a lot of that time it was a branch on another tree!

I think I’ll just stop typing now...

That’s beautiful. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. I also really like the slender one you posted.
