I’ll get on the tater train.

This is one of my trident maples, recently chopped. It still needs a lot more baking, so I’ll leave it in the oven a little longer. This tater is starting to smell nice.

If you are planning to make a “pine tree trident” now is the time to wire those branches!

Wait a minute- is this curly fries?
Did you create this yourself? What is in the middle? If you didn’t make it then where did you get it? Is it more than one tree?
So many questions.

Ha, yes, just a nerdy experiment started in March 2015. It’s one ficus microcarpa coiled around a wooden cone. At some point I hope/expect that the trunk will fuse together. There are a couple places where this is already occurring.
