It was a great tree but it turned out even better than I would have suspected. Did you give him the idea or did you let him kind of do what he wanted?

Working with Mauro is s mix of both talking through options and creative guidances. It's a conversation with him.

Good lord that is massive. Certainly looks like a terrific direction you took with it.
It definitely has a large base, I am not exactly sure but somewhere around 10- 12 in diameter.

After a good winter and freeze, this juniper is starting to show spring color.

Looking forward to a repot, but not sure we will be able to pot it at this point. Tree has a long root that needs to be reduced. Well, soon enough I'll find out.

Cheers to a great spring.

Pot I ordered from Japan. 43 cm. Not exactly sure of the maker.

With spring fast approaching and temps on the way up, I am making decisions about this tree with this pot.

Any suggestions or remarks?

Still not 100% certain, I feel there may be more to pull out of the tree and pot combination.

I don't know that you'll have a large set of options when shticking it in there ...

The character is such that you'll be able to make it look good from any angle.

I think the play between the swooops of DW and the inset corner curve may be a thing of Millimeters that will look sharp. Tiny adjustments left or right, once it's in the pot, actually up on top of the lip.

I like it, But it may be slightly more masculine than I might choose if I had unlimited options. It will probably look more in scale under the tree rather than in front of it now. Nice tree.
