A couple of little pines I have been developing. They are both young, only 10 years from seed or so - but I have only had them for the past 3. Both will be decandled for the third time this summer so looking forward to seeing the ramification really start to happen over the next few years. Both stand at just over 250mm (10") tall, so not much taller than shohin.

Great trunk (s) for a Fuji.

Bad picture of an English elm colouring up, to make the post legit.

Great carving on that trunk Tom. You do that yourself? Or get it that way?

Iā€™ve been wanting to take and post Videos on here for a bit and finally decided to start a Vimeo. Super easy to take videos of your trees and share them now! Sometimes pics do not do trees justice. This vid is from last fall of a one seed juniper I collected, that currently needs a new styling after the apex and a key branch died over winter.

please excuse my heavy breathing and creaky deck! šŸ˜‚

id sure love to see some others on here taking great 360 videos of their trees! Itā€™s super easy!

New acer rubrum, was collected in maybe late 80's. This was built with grafts, and has a big dead spot in the back nebari. The previous owner did not want to work it any more, so I have taken on the project.View attachment 268392View attachment 268393View attachment 268394View attachment 268395View attachment 268396

This is a pretty odd tree to begin with. I put these 2 maple seedlings together a few years ago with the idea of a twin trunk literatish type thingy. Turns out one has red fall color and one has yellow which is another check mark on the odd list I think.
