Hello again!
I mean, I have had shown this particular tree in the thread "tyw_acer_cpmpestre".
But now i figured the thread-title is too silly ...
Anyway, here comes my field-maple in a very raw stage.
The christmas-tree-shape is out of the question utterly inappropiate.
' Will be improved and adjusted in near future ...

Nah, not really. Did not expect you to start collecting shohin tbh :)
Got myself a gentler giant field maple.. Already 3 years growing out the main trunk to be bigger than the smaller one. Nebari around 25cm.

The tree more clear now after the designing session. There were simply to much branches and twigs.
Now the branches for the structural composition of this Acer are more or less set.
And again for my liking the overall silhoutte comestoo triangularly.
In my world this is a necessary intermediat stadium to thicken the lower branches in comparison to the upper ones.
Once this relation appears reasonably, I will come back to a more naturalistic tree-design.
And sorry, the wiring is horrible right now. I ran out of some wire-gauges ...

Im going to make a real attempt propogating these.Seedling air-layers!
Harry Harrington said they air-layer super easy...quite large trunks.
I have a 1 gallon from Brent waking up as I write this in my hydroponic room...full hydro.Should be fun.

I hardly dare to show this tree ...
It had been a very bad season for this particular specimen (storm-damage, watering-issues e,t,c, ...)
I underestimated the difficulty of designig A. campestre.
' Shortened the tree a bit.
At least the lower branches have increased in diameter ...
The top will will certainly recover very quickly ...
So just for the record :

Yeah, looking really good, great taper!

I have a big Campestre too that I can barely lift on my own, but my knowledge is still limited. So we'll see what happens with it :)
Who's in for a German/Dutch/Belgian Campestre workshop?

This tree has a bright future, Arnold. Looks like you're doing all the right things to get it there. Well done 👍🏻
