Given its propensity for large internodes are you going to be doing any early intervention? There's not a lot of buds vs all that stored energy. It's got a good chunky base to work with.
I've started leaving 'energy soaks' on mine to absorb some of the power of the first push and then cutting back later to finer stuff.
