That is a gorgeous chojubai!

Here's a 6" serissa that is getting new shoes this weekend. Can't wait to get it into a nice shallow pot and do some light root work. I am however not looking forward to the smell of those roots once they get a little trim.

This trio are brother seedlings, class of 2006, seeds collected in Naples, FL. I call them Wild Tamarind for lack of more positive ID. Seeds is seeds. There are too many Acacia that sort of all look alike, so if it doesn't bloom for me one day, I'll never know for sure. I have kept it very tight up to now, but I'm going to let it bloom this summer. Or so the plan... The pot is about 9" wide.

New pot, new leaves. They didn’t reduce this time, like they did on my test tree. I think because of the season but still not bad. The wire isn’t tight because it’s just there to stop the springiness. I want it to be able to grow without having to keep rewiring all the time.

That is a super nice quince. I have that same pot, it is under a gardenia, looks to be a great fit for your chojubai.

Gorgeous spring display.

Heres a small cherry.
Yes, agreed.

And a shohin kojo no mai, now in Koyo, seeing your cherry.

Hopefully I got this right, I didn’t see this front until it was too late but it’s a long time till it matters anyway. Pot by @Richardkearney.nz on Instagram.

Edit: Ignore the wire shooting up, it’s there for watering purposes. Easier to soak than try to get water in that little tube. Lol
