Korean Hornbeam in grow box development. Still to early for bud swell here.

I'm glad you said that about the bud swell. I just checked my Korean and was a little worried that nothing's happened. Mine's named K-pop. My daughter's really into that genre of music and named him. My son wanted to call him Horny the hornbeam but I had to put the kibosh on that😆

Here's my Chinese elm Corky. It was in the garage to protect it from our crazy Michigan weather and has already started pushing buds!

Really great elm!
Here's a Japanese maple I potted this year, it was going to go into a forest from some seeds I started six years ago, from which I've already created two forests, and the rest of the trees are in the ground (planning on a third forest).
This one is different. I planted about 120 seeds, and this tree has small internodes with leaves 1/2 the size of the others, they are only 1/2-3/4" long. The spring and fall colors are more vivid too.

JBP potted into a slightly larger round pot, so it can gain some vigour. I will take advantage of the opportunity to give it a new front as well.
