@Walter Pall Wonderful trees, Walter. Your work is what I aspire to.
Can you tell me if you are self taught, or do you have some formal training?
I know you've been doing this for some decades.

I am totally self taught. Never had a workshop.

Just beautiful. I did not realize how massive some of your trees are until I saw your corrections officer standing next to them. Fantastic.

An honor that you took the time to allow us a virtual tour of your massive bonsai gardens.

You may have touched on this on other threads, if so I'm sorry I'm being repetitive. What is the key to pest/fungal treatments? I'm assuming you are proactive.

Watering my hand...in that amount of time. You definitely have a system down pat. I'm on awe...

Thank you Mr. Pall for sharing your gardens with is. To be there and be allowed to become lost for the day would be a dream. 🥰

I do not have a pest contor program other than to strenghten the immune system of my trees as far as I can. I strenghten them and try to not weaken them. No pinching, no superfluous repotting, watering a lot (all with a garden hose in 40 minutes per day), feeding a lot and giving them as much sunlight as possible, and love.

Who's the beautiful woman?

Aye!

Maybe it's the Stark contrast of everything else that is beautiful surrounding Walter looking old....

She looks much younger than I pictured!

@Walter Pall , how's the basement cleaning up?
Any chances to get a glimpse of what pot hoarding looks like!?

How many hose connections? Or do you snake one all the way thru?

So who is removing all the weeds in the pots? for so many trees they are surprising free from weeds.
you have one of the bonsai gardens I wish I could visit once.

Thank you sir! I've just in the past few years grasp that trees need to be trees and not repotted as frequently. Your regiment is proof of a good direction.

The new stone pillars

For about 30 years I have used big logs to put my trees onto them. The logs were cheap because we are living right in the middle of the woods. They would be fine for four years usually. In the fifth year they started to decay and had to be renewed. Over all these years only a few minor accidents happened. Last year a mole found it a good idea to go under the logs. So a few fell over without warning and some caused damage. Anyway now I decided to make and end to this and purchased a few hundred cement rings to build stone pillars. Thomas and friend helped me to change most of the garden so far. This sure is a lot of work if one has hundreds of trees. Here some glimpses. Thank you Thomas!
