Part one - thanx!

Hello nuts!
My Internal clock, intuition, or whatever, told me to check how long I’ve been here.
to the day, bam! - today marks my one year anniversary on bonsai nut!

First off, Thank you!
This community has enriched my life and guided my passion for bonsai into fertile grounds. -sorry
Certain characters/members certainly stand out, but as a whole, this is a damn fine cup of coffee.

Part two - year one update.

So, I guess my one year timeline looks something like this;
-Christmas gift, small mail order juniper from my mother.
-Community Ed class, Shimpaku juniper.
-A ton of big box store nursery plants, some taken out of the ground, some put in the ground.
-First year wintering plants and assembly of cold frame.
-community Ed pottery class. Interrupted in the middle due to co-Vid. Will I ever get my pots?!


Anyways, Here is a rainy day gallery of the plants today.


oops! the mini golf hole I made for the kids(me) + 6 DAS in the ground recovery.Some small trees including my intro shimp and the JM @DayDrunk sent me Some larger trees I’ve asked for advice on previous threads. Thanks again.
collected stuff from the alley,woods,families yards,etc. Current state of this collected yew. I asked for an ID on this. One of my first threads.

Alright then, just a quick overview, but yeah, it’s been a good year, and thanks again for all the help. Stay well.
