Hello everyone.

I just saw this on my Crape myrtle. I checked under the leaves and found some small bugs. I just want to verify that this is not actually fungal.

Bug pics?

Looks like a sapjuice maker.

That sap has the tendency to harbor and fester fungal things too I reckon. I'm not saying get to spraying, but these things seem kinda hand and glove.

I just sprayed it with a soapy solution and sprinkled some systemic pesticide pellets on the base.

Please remove all flowerbuds when using these (are they neonicotinoids?). These pesticides end up in the flowers and kill the pollinators that visit your plant.

Nothing to worry about. My tree is in a greenhouse.
