I was finally able to get our donation out. Unfortunately/Fortunately the Telperion one is closed. The Sequoia Nursery and Roxie both have met their goal, so I put the balance on this one, which hasn't yet made its goal so....

I found out you can only skip out on a % for gofund me once. Then it's 15%.

So go donate and let's put my man over the top.

Hi, things are settling down and I’ve started getting the things I need to work on bonsai again. Thank you for the auctions, and the support from others.

Thank you @kakejiku for the scroll. It’s beautiful. You once asked me about the tiny maple display at National Exhibition. My choice was in part for a mountain image with the freshwater mountain crab. It was what I could find, and unfortunately most have no idea how to use a scroll in a formal display in America, including me. I know enough to be dangerous; which can lead to perfect or perfectly flawed display.

Would be great for all to learn intent behind choices made. I’d take that class .

I feel horrible that I didn't see this note the first time around. @Cadillactaste if something like this comes up again, please shoot me an email so I can do a better job supporting it. I think it kinda got lost back here in the Tea House.

None the Less, he was thinking of everyone else on Thanksgiving, so I think we can see him over the hill!

Sorry...should have tagged you I reckon. I am not really on Bonsai social media outlets or Facebook groups a whole lot anymore. I seen it on Facebook...and didn't know where to stick it. I happen back in when a friend sends me a message and I get an alert for the most part. Becoming a regular hermit. Finding peace instead of drama is a good thing. Just needed a change...

This is the end result if anyone wants to know, just finished this week.

The dark Blue and gold contrast well with the kokutan (ebony) jikusaki.
