As gorgeous as your setup is, Sergio. It's even further brightened up by the blooming serviceberry(?) trees in the background :)

Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to speaking to you virtually at the Cleveland Bonsai Club meeting.

Thank you! It is actually a wild dogwood. They grow naturally around here. Wish I had those flowers all year long!

Looking forward to seeing you guys May 22nd!

After a heavy load of repottings this year, everything is back in the garden after all danger of freezes is finally over. A lot of work already on deciduous trees such as leaf pruning and unwiring has began. A few still are barely leafing out now.

Looking great Sergio! Can't wait to see it in person when I swing down next month for the one on one.

I think this is probably going to be the best photo i'll get of my garden this autumn before things start losing their leaves...its still pretty new so i'm really looking forward to seeing it next year once things have settled in more!

Growing seasons around the world vary widely and it is difficult to get a perspective on what someone says when we don't know where in the world they are. If you go to the upper right hand corner and click on your Icon, you can add your location and people will be able to customize advice for you.

Thanks! I bought it from a Melbourne bonsai nursery called Chojo Feature Trees.
The owner had recently bought it from the daughter of its original long time owner and thought it was around 60-70 years old.

Thank you again for attending our meeting today! We appreciate you being so generous with your knowledge :) Wish me luck with my thread graft! I hope your Ebihara-style branch relocation (1) takes correctly and (2) still looks beautiful on the tree.

Sure you bet Scott! You guys had lots of great questions and insights which I always appreciate. Thanks to all of you guys for having me.

Good luck with your thread graft. Let me know how it does. And yes hoping the Ebihara branch relocation technique works out. Only time will tell.
