you don't know who piglett is? Little pig... Winnie the Pooh? The tree looks like a chunky piggy.hm.. Still leaves me wondering why piglet. Where does the name come from? I know Judy named it so, but why?
It is a poke of irony, as it certainly isn't small or the runt of the litter... And even little piggies can grow up to be HOGS.hm.. Still leaves me wondering why piglet. Where does the name come from? I know Judy named it so, but why?
It's like you can hear it eating shohin... munch...crunch...Definitely nothing small about this tree! I think it's more like Boss Hogg! Remember him? But I'll let @JudyB chime in.
Looking forward to putting into a pot next year. Not a final one perhaps but at least will be out of the box.

This has been an educational and inspiring thread. Thank you for sharing. Piglet looks like she/he is about to bust out of that box! A beautiful creature with a proud provenance.
When I look at your trees it seems you're partial to one potter in particular or am I mistaken? Where do you find your pots? Each beautifully paired with the tree it holds.
Thanks again for sharing the evolution of Piglet...a great name for this tree.
