Very Interesting….. I wonder what type of seal or technique wouldn’t cause bulging where the scars accumulated…. I have Kirikuchi-Naoru Liquid and Putty.. the Liquid does cause some bulges , I wouldn’t have expected the putty to do that.Not good, TBH.

Another year older. 
Still got it from 2016. Need to work on it. Trying to get more back budding on some. I also have another growing out more trunk for the eventual slab planting. I hope... looking at the old pics the trunks have thinkened.
