Hi, Can anyone help me ID this pine tree my Dad gave to me. It’s a garden tree that has been growing in a container for the past 10 years. My Dad said it’s a Japanese black pine but I just want to be sure. Thank you.

It's leaf curl, mines had it last season.i sprayed it with a fungicide earlier this year before it leafed out and it took care of it.
