Strange plants growing around my bonsai tree

Any experience with artillery fern? I bet not. You can clip it and use it as a ground cover for your tree-it won't hurt a thing. You think its killing that tree.................its probably sick because its indoors on window ledge.

Those with bougainvillea bonsai...do you use the BGI bougainvillea soil

The answer to question is yes. Use the BGI soil-why try to out do the experts? I may mix some Turface in but that's not required. Now I'm in bougy-land. I don't know about those plants that come in for the winter. I have several mature bougy bonsai plants. I'll try to get a pic up. james

    What is this odd caterpillar?

I don't know my northern cats-but all cats are very specific about what they eat-if you have a plant it likes, it can be devoured in a day-but they won't go from, say, milkweed to passionvine-in Florida our Giant Swallowtail has a cat that looks like that-bird dropping-like for it 'defense'.

I love neea's. If I were just starting out in bonsai that would be my first choice. Robert Pinder's nursey in Palm City, Fl has a bunch to pick from-small leaves, grow like crazy, back buds, easily shaped, cute yellow bell shaped flowers, small red berries-perfect. (cold sensitive, even for...
