I recently did my first wiring on my pre bonsai, and i am trying to save the cuttings. I had placed them all in some akadama, but i was wondering: If i were to put some cuttings in a terrarium (with some fertilizer, the reccomened amount to encourage growth), would their chances be any better?

ive got my first bonsai last week. oh course, i dont plan any work until the proper time once it has recovered. I do want to make some sort of plan now, though. any hints on how to style/train this willow leaf ficus?

I had a intro thread earlier, but no one has replied, so I'll post a new thread specifically about my tree. It is a Willow Leaf Ficus prebonsai, I remember reading it was five years old. If I were to call it a tree as is (my first and only tree, has had no work done and was recieved yesterday)...

i just ordered a fukien tea pre bonsai on ebay. it comes in a training pot, but i was wondering what kind of permanent pot would be best? i have a how to bonsai book; so i can tell what kind of pot you are talking about. here is a pic : (i plan on repotting somewhere up the road.)
