could cut a few candles get the start of pads going then don't decandle and grow sacrifice branches while working on those pads. be good if it was in the ground.
I love the second pines first styling. definite direction. Ryan Neil has a no fertilizer plan after decandling when in refinement to keep elongation short. not useful during development though.
jkl, the plant horticulturist from the McMillion Greenhouse in CLT stated fertilizer late in the season reduces and inhibits fall color, especially free nitrogen. Do you agree with that statement? Why or why not?
