    azalea problem.

With azaleas iv had in the past, this was normal after root trimming especially if some buds have already started to roll open. Its trying to push New growth while sapping some of the older. Thats what it sounds like to me without seeing pictures or knowing exactly how much root work was done...

    Cedrus Brevefolia repot

The best part about how this tree has grown is either semi or full cascade will look natural in nature. I would imagine creating the image in your last picture will create a drastic but pleasing view. Especially as you've mentioned opening the pads up a bit. I'm partial to half moon pots and...

    I'm gonna make brooms.

Iv read the thread or article (cant remember) that those pictures originated. It was showing how to create a sumo. When I layer in the ground I use a single wire and wrap it around the trunk, after about 2 years ill repot trimming the old root system leaving the new. This will stimulate the new...

    Water Elm Group

Thoughts or ideas? Iv attached 2 verts deciding on if something along these lines would work. The far left tree has a knob that will never heal over at the middle of the trunk and it would also alleviate the largest tree from sticking out being so straight. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Using organic and inorganic ferts together?

Just to clear things up for the OP It is completely safe to use both together. It is also true that most people do not use enough fertilizer. I have organic fertilizer on all my trees durring the growing season and use a liquid inorganic once a week. Now with that being said whether damage can...
