    thanks, sounds like you would not have a very high success rate w/ the trees I work with. Where I'm from we DONT disturb what root system we where able to get at time of collection, once home. That's a good way to ruin all your hard work. Cant take short cuts w/ these old trees. JE

    Ha, will do Dick. I was thinking of asking dkraft same thing. What elevation are you collecting at? here in the PNW mid july is when areas above timber line are snow free enough to go collecting. nice looking trees by the way. JE

    If you want some nice material you have to pay...think about what you paid for material when you were starting out. Are you spending more now.? I'd much rather have one $900 tree than 9 $100 trees. I bet those w/ nice trees in there collections have spent more than that on one tree. I guess...
