    Pine Growth habits.

I have searched and searched for information regarding the general growth habits of pines. For example, in my books and online when researching pines, it is said to "prune the third year needles" or "cut back to second year growth". Being from the south, I am very interested in pines, as I grew...

I use my phone as well. It attempts to correct my "grammatical mistakes" by inserting the wrong word from time to time on its own merit. I'm a bit confused...plural words are made so by adding an s....Possesive words use the apostrophe. "That is Jack's ball." or Those are Jack's trees. The...

Just wanted to post a progress report on my 6 yo crape. Late summer..before chop. As it is today. Moved it to a sunnier location after the late summer chop and after really cleaning up the roots. Its early fall here, is it to late (or to soon after chop) to feed this guy. I've had it 5...

    Ginseng ficus experiment...

rootsI do know that it's never a good idea to cross wiring. Additional wires should paralel one another. I'm not sure of how true it is as I'm a noob, but I've heard of promoting arial roots by making a small knick to expose the cambium and applying rooting hormone.

    Free Ruby Loropetalum

I've read that they have difficulty backbudding, and that may be a issue, as the branches need to tighten terrifically. I plan on growing it out a bit, but think it may make a nice feminine tree. Anyway....for free, it's hard to go wrong.
