    New Maple forest question

I am germinating about 10 maples right now and am hoping to make a forest myself. I plan on growing them in bigger pots first, and once they reach a reasonable size I will place them together. Depending on how big you want this to eventually reach, I recommend doing the same. The pot size you...

    Ficus with potential?

Okay so I will put it in a bigger pot and remove the wiring. At the moment it mostly has soil from when I bought it so I am not exactly sure the type, but it is growing outside and I am located in 10b .

    Ficus with potential?

I wired it loosely because ficus are known to grow quickly (which I learned from google) and I did not want the wires to cut into the bark. I figured someone would say to chop it but I think the trunk makes it unique. Don't think the aerial roots can make it look better later on?

    Growing Bridges

These bridges are grown by ficus elastica by generations of families. I am new to bonsai but I think it would be an awesome project to replicated these structures, although some may not consider it traditional. Either way, I figured some of you would find this very interesting.

    My 3 new pre-bonsai trees

Thanks for the tips :D I just used some organic bonsai soil from a near by nursery. Hopefully I can keep them alive long enough for them to become real bonsai haha from what I have seen most of these trees are fairly hardy and will be good to learn with

    My 3 new pre-bonsai trees

Hello all, I am new to growing bonsai and have started my collection with a few plants. I re-potted them earlier in the month but after doing more research I think it might be better if I put them in some bigger training pots until they thicken up a bit because of their age. The red tree is...
