I will defenitely be there. I missed the Asheville show this year due to the birth of my son, but i've seen some incredible trees at the silhouette show in the past few years and am excited for this years show again.

I stopped by on Saturday for a while and saw most of Bill's demonstration. The trees were great this year and I had a very diffiult time chosing a favorite. John, I didnt see you on the schedule for Sunday otherwise I would have come back.

I placed mine on the bench and realized 2 weeks later it was hidden behind larger trees and never got watered. So I'll have to withdraw as my holly did not survive my mistake.

I couldn't find anything I really liked so in the 11th hour I picked up this holly at Wally World for $7. I'm entering in the beginner catagory.

There appears to be 1 very small bud that showed up on Monday. It doesn't seem to have grown any since and I haven't noticed any other buds.

After chopping it to it's current point, I also considered removing the left branch as well but my wife quickly vetoed that.
