    Replacing soil for new bonsai?

Terry, I actually went to DL Nursery this past weekend. Linda was very nice and answered all my questions. I am planning on going back to them when it is time to replace the soil.

Yes, that is basically what I've learned too. Linda from D&L also said to bring it in under 50 F. Do you have any suggestions on what to do for this tree? Any guidance at all would be appreciated.

Yesterday I headed to D&L Nursery to check it out and hopefully get a better beginning bonsai besides the mallsai I picked up. Beautiful place, next time I go I'll see if I can get some pics. I have a big bag of it for my aquarium plants and it would be great if I could use it for the tree too. And how do I keep harmful bugs off of...

New to bonsai/land plants in general!

Thank you sorce, I'm glad to hear that I got a live one and not just an imposter! I was thinking of putting it outside but the thing is we have raccoons and possums that are very curious. Is a screened patio a sufficient environment for this tree?

New to bonsai/land plants in general!

Hello! I am from Florida, and I have recently acquired a procumbens nana bonsai. I'm going to go ahead and say the ugly- I got it from a vendor in a flea market. The guy said he grew it himself in his greenhouse, so it was exposed to bright but filtered light. He recommended getting it used to...
