    Will this work?

And finding a non green hobby is not an option unfortunately. I love bonsai. I used to actually be pretty good at watering, then life shit happened and made it more difficult to remember.

    Will this work?

I put the Amazon bought water wicks in, the yarn did seem to be working somewhat. My next idea is getting a 50 gallon bucket and attaching some sort of hand pump sprayer. The hose attachment is on the back side of the house where the trees wouldn’t get sun. I’m just trying to make an easier way...

    Will this work?

Sounds like i need to look into an automatic sprinkler system. Yea i work nights and bunches of days in a row, which doesn't help my routine. the trees i have plugged into these things are worth whatever it took to put some cuttings, and two easily dug trees. one is a trident i bought for 20...

    Will this work?

I’ve tried that, it never worked right. I’m sure I could do it again and do a better job at it but I’ve since just asked my kids to water when they remember, asked my wife and I do it myself too. Between the group of us the trees get watered, but it is not at great consistency. It seems like...

    Will this work?

The tubes go into the soil alittle and I spread the yarn out around the pots, not sure how well that’ll work or if the soil will just take the water off the yarn as soon as it hits soil. Each tube has about 4peices of yarn, and no clue what type of yarn it is? Regular yarn my wife had and said...

    Will this work?

My biggest weakness is watering my trees. I put some yarn, inside a plastic tube running from a bucket of water to a few pots. All are trees I’m just barely starting, some cuttings. I plan to not water other than with this method and see how they do. Thoughts? will this work? Will the soil stay...

    Annealing Copper Wire

This is a bit of a throwback, but in a bonsai life it’s not. I’ve done this method over backyard fire with a hot bed of coals. Th picture is what most of them look like.

    Japanese black pine

Yea, the plan is now just grow. I’m looking into repotting. When I do it’ll be primarily to get it into a big enough pot to grow. It’s definitely a long way from looking beautiful, but to me it can certainly become awesome.

The bankan is a good set of examples. Correct, I'm not actually tying knots, just bending and twisting as extreme as possible.
