    Let’s Develop this Sharp’s Pygmy

Lovely tree progression! Now as the choosing the front, I must say this is premature. I would let this grow on for at least three years to get some decent nebari. Then choosing the front will be much more relevant. Thanks for sharing Rob

    Air layering Trident maple

Nice job. I'm wondering, if you have a lot of top growth going on now? Just wondering, because I thought you need a good amount of top growth to 'feed' new roots into the growing medium. Curious.... Anyway, hoping for the best for you, Rob

    Boons Training AWESOME!

To piggy back on what yenling83 said, Boon's repotting video is well worth buying. As a potter, I now know the importance of putting drainage holes in my pots, and where to place them. Plus, there are many steps to repotting that I am always forgetting. His videos are top notch...;)

    A very unique Trident

Very interesting material. For my two cents, I would split him in half too. I would love to see where you take this guy! Rob

    Most Expensive Tree?

Harry, I don't suppose that you are going to tell us whom that might be? I was going along with Rick too about it not being necessary, but now my curiousity piqued.:p Rob

A little inspiration for boxwood enthusiasts

This is a great tree. The pot is nice too. The blue compliments the tan trunk nicely. Do you know if the pot is handmade? Rob

    Pots from geometry class!

Here is another geometric pot. This is a large octagonal rectangle... Planning out the dimensions for these pots is always a challenge. I probably wouldn't be able to figure out all the special ^(*)*&__)(!#%$#^^%$ (math) without the help of my wife, who teaches honors...

    Namako

I am curious Victrina. My guess is either through the use of a caustic dip of some sort or by sand blasting. IMHO, I wouldn't do anything this drastic for this particular pot. I would probably keep it until the right tree came along too...
