    Just bought it and I think it’s dying help

    Just to tie this thread up. I placed the tree outside and let the soil dry out as well as sprayed a 3 in 1 bug killer on it. It worked great. The tree is alive and well. I have another post asking about pruning advice if you want to give that a shot.

    looking for advice on what to do with the top. maybe cut and let grow thinner for taper or just let branch out? Yes I’m aware of the poor wiring situation. I’ll fix it later. Thanks for any help!

    So I dug up a young juniper I found and used it as my first every bonsai project. Here is before and after pictures. I am open to any advice given. I do not know much about bonsai trees but wanted to give it a shot.
