    Hi Jim Got this one from Meehan's Miniature in Md. Fantastic place. You may have to call them. The website only shows about 5% of what the have. Lucky for me I'm about an hours drive from them.

    Vance, this is the reason I got this spruce. Back in the '80s when I first started the hobby and join the local club I saw beautiful crabapples with very large developed trunks and branches. They were owned by senior club members that explained the very statement you made.

    Yes AlainK, I agree and understand. The wooden box it's in isn't a deep as it appears. The bottom 2.5 -3 inches is actually solid wood. G.

    Yep you are right, no more for now. I'm just glad to see the new growth because before cleaning it up there was no sign of inner growth. Will update with new photos in 10 years. :D
