I think this is the last one of the year although there are a few that will keep me up at night until I get them tagged and bagged. If this was a trophy elk hunt I believe it would make the “Boone and Crockett”. Enjoy THE Fin. Hopefully he’ll be around a few more hundred years.

It’s been a busy collecting season. These are my first juniper yamadori after several years of getting skunked I finally found the pattern. (Don’t ask 🤐) Three 1-seeds filled the mist tent in short order and expansion started yesterday, several masterpieces still to collect over next 2 weeks.

Drift, All of those maples are different with the exception that none are trunk-chopped. Now with the spirit of the thread you owe us 2 pics! And yes, maples do in fact thrive in SF. Cool nights, only a handful of low 90’s, 30% shade cloth, wind breaks and 12hr shifts of watering duties.
