    Yamodori European larch

    I planted this Larch in the ground over a year ago. Its growing beautifully and I decided to cut back last years growth to keep the branches and new buds close as to the trunk. I have also left a leader to grow nicely to thicken the trunk up over the years to come. what you guys think?

    Hi its not an emergency repot. Just took the whool root ball and placed it in Akadama and pumice to get the balance of water and oxygen. The far second right tree is turning yellow foliage.

    Repot is still possible but the reason I can’t is i’m swapp pots with my larch forest. My teacher said its too late as the larch doesn’t like root disturbance

    Hi dave, I was going to repot this year but couldn’t because i missed the opportunity to repot my Larch forest - i was swapping the pots around. So i’m going to do it next spring. The soil isn’t the best i agree, but i’am allowing it to dry between watering. Maybe i should test the soil PH

    I got this yew last summer. Is it normal for this yew to be yellow? Some foliage is however green. Some foliage is yellow and the leafs are falling off if brushed. They are a pale yellow.

    JWP repot advice please

    Ok thats me gone ahead with the repot. The roots where circling the pot quite alot. But i did not cut any roots just removed the outer root ball and reduced it. Leaving some soil around the nebari.
