I think the dream catcher makes the display one of the coolest I have seen. I like when someone thinks outside the box and breaks with tradition. Apparently others at the show must have liked it also since it won an award. Personally, I am not a big fan of all the rules and traditions in Bonsai...

    Fertilizer question

[ pauldogx, None of the stores I looked in carry a balanced mix of Miracle grow or Peters, they seem to have any other combination but that one. I do have a lot of plants to fertilize because I have been taking cuttings for a couple of years now and they are starting to add up. Thanks...

    Vibernum Yamadori

Here are some pictures of a Vibernum tree I recently dug up. Not sure of the cultivar. I love the aged looking bark on it, especially for such a small tree. I'll let it rest this year and hope it throws some new shoots out. Anyone else ever try one of these for bonsai?

    Bonsai Pottery Tips

Rivet spacing Here is a dividing head I made to accurately lay out rivet spacing on pots. I made two of different sizes for large and small pots. Excuse the pics with the unfired pots, it is just to show how the device is used.
