Hector was a bonsai teacher and past president of the Four Seasons Bonsai Club of Michigan. Many of the club members learned from this gentle man its sad to see him go he was a credit to the bonsai community.

Hi Ryan No I don't belong to any club at this time maybe Bunnell. So far my maple has grown well and I'm about a mile from the ocean, i've had trouble with my white pine (zusho) it died maybe salt in the air. My black pine is doing ok. I met Jason at his nursery and Mike Rogers too, nice people...

I love it a little sunshine in the middle of winter.

I think that knowing that my trees would be taken care of and not just left around to waste away, I would donate my trees and let people enjoy them. Look at it this way alot of very good bonsai artists have done it so why should'nt I.

Jwp I need my tree to grow up it is only a couple years old so height and girth are the main areas needed to change.

I have a JWP thats a graft it's been in a Vance Wood growing pot for about a year and I want to let it grow more my question is should I pinch the candles or let them alone til I ready to style and keep the tree at a certain height and thickness?
