    Do you pot or train first?

    When you buy a potential tree do you re-pot first or leave it in the container and trim and wire it before going to a pot. Myself I move it to a pot to see if it will actually make the change and be healthy in a new pot and then a year later style it. Dave in Colorado:)

    White substance on needles??????

    I have a Ponderosa that I collected on Monday and potted that same day that is showing some sort of white "milky" substance on the needles. I don't recall seeing this when I collected it. Any idea what this could be? Confused Dave in Colorado.:confused:

    Need to revitalize a Ponderosa

    Colorado Collecting in the wild
