I had the chance to get these two hawthorn's today with a fairly good price from a distant vendor. But since cargo does not accept trees with 2 meters height, the vendor had the chop them. He says that he is 100 percent sure they will survive, but I am worried (and feel guilty for being greedy...

Picked up some cheap hedging hawthorn last year, noticed this one had some interesting roots, intended to make an exposed or ROR this year, so great timing for this contest! << Chose the porous volcanic rock that the tree fit best on. And not bad colour IMO Can't really see in these photos, but...
