leaf size

I have had this live oak (purchased as a start) since February. It is taking off with the spring light and growing leaves that look massive to me. What is going on here? Do I need to prune this growth back?

I recently wired this young F. Benjamina and I’m quite proud of it! However, at the moment the leaves are disproportionately large and the trunk quite thin. What would be the best course of action to correct this?

These are about full size... just massive!
