Guys, I have this old rosemary in my herb garden that has become around 2m/ 78 inches tall. It is around 15 years old and has a very nice woody 10 cm/ 4 inch thick trunk. Very tempting. However, I am not sure if it will survive a drastic trunk chop. Anyone experience with very hard pruning an old rosemary bush? I will post some pics asap.

It won't bud from old wood, so if you chop, you need to leave green. That being said - I'd worry more about the roots.

They can take hard pruning (always leaving enough green) what they dont like is repoting so diggin it up wont be easy
