Hosted by the California Shohin Society, the Shohin Seminar is considered to be one of the best, if not the best, opportunity in the U.S. to learn about Shohin. Thanks to the generosity of all who participate, it is an exceptional value for the cost.

2018 Shohin Seminar

All funds go to support the Golden State Bonsai Federation's three collections.

To make the Shohin Seminar work, everyone pays their own way. Headliners, instructors, presenters, vendors, and all of the chair-persons that make the seminar such a wonderful event – EVERYONE volunteers their services and pays their own travel expenses. It’s an extraordinary act of giving for the benefit of the greater Bonsai community.

Now all I need is my BNut tshirt. . .

I know, right? I actually broke down and wore one of my prototypes to the GSBF Convention in October :)

They're coming... they're done, actually. I have just been busy on other stuff in real life to build the storefront.

Just kidding! Great exhibit and amazing deals at the vendors! The lighting was tough so I’ll to edit the camera photos. But here are some phone pics from just a few displays.

Too many great vendors to mention. But I will plug these hard working folks at American Bonsai. Great looking tools that look solid. I’m looking forward to using my new shears and cutters.

Hopefully someone will post some better quality photos of the exhibit!

But here’s one last pic. A Roy Minari pot that I couldn’t believe made it to the second day! By way of Jonas’s booth at Bonsai Tonight. I made sure it didn’t make it to the third day!
