Fist one is a 7year old JBP. It has been pot grown by me from seed. Was put in this pot in January of 2020. I started to take the wire off and haven’t finished. Lots of movement and options. I did not decandle this year.

Second is a JRP 7years old grown from seed by me. Put in this pot in January 2021. Did not decandle this year. Lots of movement and options. Again I started taking the wire off.

I think you should have put a number out there. For too many of us it is hard to come up with an offer. A lot of us don't have much money to spend and we are looking for a deal. So many would not send a pm based upon the uncertainty and the desire not to offend.

I see a lot of potential in these two small trees. Many branches to select for the style one like. I have many pines that are older than these.... for me I think a fair price would be around $150 a piece.... about 20 bucks per year. I would have bought it if I in the market for one.

Seems fair but it is beyond me at this time. Right now I am putting out a lot of funds for clay, slip, oxides and glazes, and my electric bill is off the charts. I have to run an ac when I fire my kiln. Each piece is fired twice for about 12 hours a firing drawing 50 amps, and my ac has to run two to three days to keep up with a single firing.

I hope these plants bring $150 each or more on FB. I don't do FB.

150 would be a good price I think too. How much will shipping be for something this size?

I think at the auction I will start at $100. I think they are between that and $300. Shipping probably would be $25-60 each.

Wow. In Denmark in Europe those trees wouldn't cost more than 70 dollars each maximum.

This is my opinion so take it as it is.

I'd venture the cascade one could go for $100 or maybe a bit more. It's got nice movement.

The upright one wouldn't be worth that much to me. I am not enamored with the zig zag look of it.

Someone else might have a different opinion.

Prices have changed over the years but I have a JBP I bought for $250 that was more developed at the time than these so I suppose that's my basis for my opinion.

In the end, they are worth what someone will pay for them. Someone might well think they are worth more.

Again, everyone has a value of things differently. If you are interested in the tree send me a PM and we can discuss it.

I threw a range of price out that I think it would sell for on FB and I feel like I would pay for that same tree.

If you aren’t looking for a JRP shohin started material that has movement and some good options, your value is going to be low compared to someone who has been looking for that specific tree.

I am thinning my collection of prebonsai and material I have that I don’t want to donate to our local club, but has some value. I post on here to give people options if they don’t do FB.
