Never hurts to ask right? Saw this juniper off to one side of the local nursery. $200 on the tag...manager passing by: "what kind of deal can you give me on this?" I say.
50% off he says.
How about 75% off.
Ok.
So I brought it home.

I thought maybe an air layer for a two- fer.

What is it? Common juniper?

He was not able to identify it other than a juniper and I can not tell the difference. Here is a close up of trunk and branches.

Its not a communis cus it has scale foliage
