Last years AoB Awards brought in 231 remarkable entries from 25 countries around the world. One of the sponsor awarded bonsai went all the way to the First National Exhibit in Rochester, New York and ended up winning there! This years contest will no doubt surpass last years contest in many ways!

In addition to our own "AoB Award" and category prizes, this years contest offers three additional sponsor awards that will be given out. The American National Bonsai Exhibition Award, The Joshua Roth Limited Award, and the Bonsai Clubs International Award, all offer sponsor awards for this year, all with great prizes as well.

This contest presents a great opportunity to have your bonsai judged by some of the most experienced bonsai artists in the world. It also allows all to see bonsai from around the globe, offering both entrants and viewers alike a rare educational and inspirational opportunity.

Rules, entries, and discussion can be seen at http://artofbonsai.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=82

No entries yet from the put up or shut up crowd, but there is still lots of time left.

Judges will be announced soon.

Sponsor award prizes this year include automatic acceptance into the 2010 National Exhibition. a $525.00 stainless steel master tool set in a leather case, your bonsai on the cover of Joshua Roth's catalog, free registration to the next BCI convention in China, and there will be dozens of other valuable prizes added soon!

Will, why do you revert to obnoxiousness. This could have been a respectful thread about an exciting topic. Now you went and contaminated it with your provocation. Please stop stooping. It has tainted this event.

Thank you for your thoughts.

The rules are now also posted in Italian.

To date we have 70 entries from 11 countries!

With awards such as the Joshua Roth Award, American National Bonsai Exhibition Award, the Bonsai Clubs International Award, and the ICHIBAN Award, some entrants are going to win some very nice prizes, not to mention world-wide recognition for their achievement.

Not much time left to enter, here's your chance to not only have your work reviewed by some of the best masters in the world, but also display your bonsai next to others from around the world.
