Alright since I messed up and made 2 of these threads why not use it .I have a huge trident 5 plus inch trunk or a newly aquired japanese maple butterfly that has a 4-5 inch trunk .I am not yet sure wich one will go here but If anyone has a prefrence I would appreciate a little help deciding.

I have decided to post a japanese maple in this thread so here it is it is a butterfly cultivar and is very old. I want to airlayer the two largest branches on this tree but do not know if this cultivar will air layer any help would be greatly appreciated on that matter.2nd to the last pic is the front of the tree as I see it.Progression shots to follow throughout the years comments and virts welcome.
