We all come to that point where we realize our tree collection has outgrown it's space. Today, I finally was motivated enough to build myself a damn bench already.

Materials used:

2 - 2x4x8' Pressure treated
2 - 2x6x8' Pressure treated
19 - 8x8x16" Cinder block
1 - Friend

She ain't pretty, but it's functional. I still need to stain the boards. Once my trees get more developed I'll upgrade my benches.

Simple, nice. I would only be worried about the toll on the plywood base.
Yeah I'm sure it will rot over the course of a year, I'm trying to kill the grass under it so I can lay down some plastic and rocks under the bench!

Looks good in the head....

But them cinder blocks will hold a lot of moisture and keep your humidity up...

I know @jeremy_norbury would probly water the hell out of those blocks!

I been soaking my area like that...even letting more pretty weeds grow out along the edges to hold humid and wet.

I was in the front garden the other day, and a fairy ran across my foot!
Saw one in the backyard yesterday too!

Mice really...but my ecosystem is banging!

Mad shrooms, myc!, critters!

Wet em up!

ditch the plywood, crushed rock or gravel underneath, spray paint cinder blocks flat black. That's what I'm gonna do. Just a suggestion by the way. Looks good.
