Very cold morning for us in the Valley of the Sun. Plankets stiff as a board with ice after it rained buckets yesterday then froze at night.

Snow level at 3,000 feet left the mountains surrounding the valley covered in snow. This AM.

Leaving many snow birds with a cranky disposition muttering "we should have stayed home".
We need the water more than the snow birds anyway!

By the end of today we will have passed out nearly a thousand flyers promoting our up coming show in April and explaining the history of PBS.

We have a kids booth at our show in April where the kids can choose a bonsai pot and they wire a portulacara into it and take it home. Big hit with the kids. I had a lady tell me yesterday her kids bonsai tree still alive from last year.

Awesome! Thanks for posting up! Phoenix is only about 4 hours from us... perhaps a reason for a road trip? :)

Ironwood. Glad to see some focus on southwestern species.
